If there is a time when nature throws a carnival, autumn is it. There is as much color underfoot as overhead. Confetti's flying.

Love your photos. What a lovely way of describing it! I love the random order in which they fall and collect on the ground. I dread Saturdays when DH mows the lawn and gets the leaves too.
I have never experienced the fall you have back east, there are a few trees in Southern California that turn colors, but very few indeed. The fall leaves look like jeweled spice gems, they are amazing. Reflections – a myriad of colors that seem to meld together – perfection Thank you for sharing these beautiful photographs.
