Whew! Another year has whizzed by, another SPA come and gone. This year was the best ever. I can't begin to thank the organizers and divas enough for all the hard work they do, all the planning and scheduling. For a weekend that started out as an easy getaway, it is now anything but for those "in charge". From a vendor's stand point, everything had been worked out ahead of time, making it a very enjoyable experience. When it came time to suggest what we'd like to see changed for the next year, I couldn't think of anything.
Getting ready for a show, especially when you have 'other' jobs, is all consuming. I got pretty close to finishing my Garter Yoke cardi in time to wear, just not close enough. Two inches, that's all that is left on the second sleeve. Saturday night, I was nearing the bind off when I saw that I'd knitted a purl row. Sunday morning with coffee I ripped back.
With a nor'easter on the way, everyone headed for home early on Sunday. That's New England in winter, it held just long enough. I missed hanging out in the afternoon after packing up. Turned out to be a good thing. I was able to get home (with a stop at Costco) before dark and still had enough energy to unload. Lucky, I tell you. Everything was unpacked before the nearly foot of heavy snow fell.

SPA is really about spending time with fiber friends.
To all of you who stopped by to lend a hand, say "hi", or bring your beautiful projects to show me, I say thanks. It wouldn't be SPA without you.
oh… it has been SO long since I posted, I forgot.
The pork livers… they're for my cats.
everyday.

yummmm..

Our time together was way too short this year!
Ah, that roving is gorgeous!
Loved seeing you this weekend!
Everyone had a such a good time! Your ‘goods’ look so nice. If only I’d been there…;-)
Oh, that emerald green alpaca/merino/silk of yours that Kim bought for me – it’s to die for! Lovely, lovely stuff to spin. I’m glad you had a good time at SPA; I certainly did!
Beautiful offerings! Your SPA shop looks so inviting!
Great to have a post from you~ (shhh don’t let my kitty know you cook for yours….)
It was great to see you again! And of course, shop in your booth. Not sure which is calling louder: the roving or skein winder. Fortunately, I don’t have to choose. ๐
So much fun, but, yes, too short. It is a slice out of time for us.
We got 15″ of light stuff. Spent free time in the next two days shoveling…shoveling….
Your booth was gorgeous! Glad I headed home early but next year I’ll plan to stay longer. Looking forward to the worsted your planning, maybe CTS&W? Let me know.
