A quick shot of the silk that I dyed last week.
A little something I picked up at CT S&W last weekend.
The tag on it said Corrie X.
It is a beautiful sunny, warm day,
perfect weather for drying.

The silk is lovely but that fleece makes me want to reach right in and grab it!
Uh, oh, Margene is now craving FLEECE! Now, Judy, how the heck did I miss you AGAIN at another sheep and wool festival?! What is that…four out of five? I saw photos, so I know you were there! (That is a lovely fleece, though.) Maryland?
Beautiful colours and love the look of the fleece. So smushy!
Nice CRIMP!
Ah yes. That was reach in and grab soft.
What’s your fleece washing regimen? Temp of water? Duration of soak? Amount of what detergent? Or soap? I have this pretty little Shetland from Rhinebeck that wants a bath…..
Love the colour that you have dyed the silk and I must find a mesh bag to wash my fleece in future. Great looking fleece it is as well:)
The red silk is lovely, but it’s the picture of fleece drying in the sun that really warms my heart!
Nice Fleece! To go along with what looks like some very nice spring weather! Enjoy both of em. π
I thought the same thing as Laurie — how does one get it sweet smelling?!? π My poor fleece is suffocating in a plastic Toys R Us bag in the garage.
Ooh baby. The new spring wool……sigh.
No sheep for me this year. Famous last words and all, but my house is a picture. A woolly one.
Maryland?
Hi Judy, Can you reply with a link to your electric skein winder so I can forward it to my dyer friend? It was good seeing you, did you say you’re going to New Hampshire with Leslie? BRING YARN!
Oh, I love your drying set up. I need to do something like that…with 4 more Shetland fleeces on the horizon. π
Glad you had a happy BD!
Can you tell me how you cleaned your fleece that you picked up at the CT sheep and Wool Show? Also did you clean it in that bag?
