This morning I discovered that there wasn’t any more yarn to dye (hmmm any?? well yes, of course, there is always something to dye, but nothing ready to go), none of my merino & silk, none of the stuff I’ve been having so much fun with. How could this be??? Must be that I dyed it this weekend. Guess it’s time to get busy.
All this dyeing is boring one of my blog readers to tears it seems. After reading Anne’s post, about how many blogline subscribers people have, I discovered that not only don’t I have many subscribers, but I also lost one over the weekend. C’mon… what’s that about? These are pretty colors.
I continue to work on the Branching Out Scarf, it’s still holding my attention. Last night I nixed a movie that C had picked up with subtitles. I need to check the chart every row. The two activities are not a fit. C wasn’t too upset, he’d thought that perhaps the ‘no subtitles’ option meant that it would magically be in English, that just maybe you had a choice .. Italian or English. He wasn’t going to those subtitles anyway. So there.. sometimes things just work out.

Well, since I don’t have a blog I don’t think I can subscribe but I still read, dyed yarn looks lovely.
Did you think about knitting the scarf in two parts and grafting to make it symetrical or does it look fine as patterned? I’m using Zephyr and have done 6 repeats this am. It is simple and easy and very pretty.

Beth, I did think of doing just that, and I guess put it out of my mind. What are your plans for it, grafting is not my strong point, but it’s worth trying. My beginning isn’t flat, rather forked. How’s yours?
I, for one, love to look at all your new colors! You probably have far more readers than you know, they just don’t do bloglines. Is the yarn you dye all handspun? That’s a major output.
Bloglines can go up and down for what seems to be ‘no reason’. One day your down and the next up by 3. I for one, love seeing the colors you come up with and LOVE the Twilight!
Judy, the papaya is gorgeous.
The hummers are gorging themselves at our feeder. Yours should show up soon!
My favorites are Atlantic and the Twilight. Mom put her feeder out yesterday. They hummers will have it waiting for them when they get to Western PA.

My end is forked also, but I think it will block out. The more I look at it in the thin Zephyr I think I will graft, but I’ve got a few more, make that a lot more repeats before I have to decide. How’s the front porch?

I’M not bloody bored. Those colors are FAB and I’m drooling. Margene’s right — there’s something kooky with their numbers system. I once asked them about it, and they said sometimes their servers get attacked with ….I don’t remember…something. Hackers or something. You know those lovely hackers. Creeps.
Where did you ever get such an appropriate name for your first pic of yarrn ๐
Twilight is so pretty!!
