It’s Groundhog Day. I’m Pennsylvania Dutch and have deep roots in them thar hills. I believe. It’s a bright sunny, Oh my God blue sky day in New England. Phil’d see his shadow here. Not a good sign if you’re waiting for spring. The icicles after days and days of forming stalactites turning into columns, have been crashing from the roof to the ground. Walking near the house has become treacherous.
I got through the first full pattern repeat on the MH Sweater’s sleeve. I’ve got the hang of it and found my own mistakes on my shit spread sheet. I’ll make the corrections today and reprint. It makes keeping track of row numbers easy (providing I remember to check off the row number after I knit it) and make notes so I can repeat for a second sleeve.
Cindy took a pic of the Double Seed St. Weekend sweater when she stopped here to pick me up for Tuesday night knitting.
This sweater is like air, very comfortable. I’m pleased on all counts (with the sweater, not the pic). I could easily use a second one from this pattern. π

You look great! What a nice sweater. Looks like one you will wear often. Comfy, very good looking and great fit.
Yes, that’s a keeper! (remind me what yarn you used again?) I love that color on you. You look just like an old high school friend of mine!!!
Ohhh, I love the color, I love the fit!! And I agree with you, this is a pattern one can’t have too many of. I am going to make another as soon as I finish M’s Aran sweater. We’ll have to compare meanings of the Aran stitches. I know one I am putting on his means the ups and downs of marriage (a zigzag). I laugh every time I think of that.
HEY! I started that daggone sweater first. No fair! Now YOU do a cross-country move – see if that slows you down a bit, missy.
Seriously, tho – great color on you. Guess I’d better get cranking on mine, huh? π
