Saturday, Cindy came by to have a yogurt making lesson, lunch and a photo shoot. We had successful results on all counts. Despite its brightness, which I worried over, I've worn this sweater quite a lot already. It fits right in with the season. The world of Spring is filled with bright colors, many very bright pinks. Not only does it fit right in, but it is very comfortable. How could anything this relaxed not be.
Details are on Ravelry. My big spurge was the buttons. The yarn was spun from Brown Sheep roving remnants, probably during the first year I learned to spin. It sat waiting as an unfinished vest buried deep in a stash bin.

It looks great, Judy. The buttons are a perfect match and worth the splurge.
I got a close up look at the buttons – they are fab. The yarn really shows off the sweater.
That looks like a perfect spring sweater!
I think the color is great, and it really looks fantastic on you!
Your FLS looks like the perfect match of style and comfort!
Really nice that it is some of your first handspun…(lots of “good energy”)–and those buttons–great choice!
Love the buttons and color. It’s not all that bright, it’s beautiful!!
Not only comfortable, but really pretty! Gorgeous colors. I love it.
I was going to compliment the buttons, even before you mentioned they were a splurge. They “make” the sweater!
Why, yes, I know, YOU made the sweater…and a great job you did! 🙂
It looks great and the buttons are perfect!
The buttons are perfect! Looks great!
Don’t you just love when you use up yarn that has been sitting around? I feel so accomplished when that happens!
It came out beautiful Judy. Those are my favorite colors.
Perfect for spring! And those buttons really set it off.
Love the colors, and I’m not really a fan of pink. 8)
Well done! You and FLS show each other off nicely.
Beautiful!! Love the color and the buttons!
Just gorgeous – and very flattering, too! Such a great design for handspun.
Your sweater looks great. A lot of them that I’ve seen were made too small and they gap open too much in the front. Yours really looks nice.
