Weekdays dissolve into weekends and back again without much fanfare these days. For us, with little socializing, they feel like two days tacked onto the rest of the week to be used for catch up. Friday night, I finished and sewed in the ends on two projects. The first, Love Notes, I’ll save for later so that I can include a photo. The second is a fun little mosaic knitting pattern called the Dissent Cowl. The timing was perfect. This morning I woke to blowing snow. I can imagine using this a lot this year.

It takes two skeins of fingering wt yarn in contrasting colors. I chose a natural yak blend and a hand dyed skein of Weatherfield in Slate. If you are looking for a quick gift knit, check out this pattern. The designer is donating the proceeds through November 3, 2020, in memory of the late, great Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 100% of the sales of this pattern will go to the American Civil Liberties Union.

That is a beautiful project all around!
I’ve seen this pattern from a few of my knitting friends now. Yours has inspired me to knit one for myself! Also, allow me to say again how nice it is to have your voice in the blogging world once again.
