  • Great day for drying!

.. means a great day for dyeing.

Tomorrow the weather is changing for the colder, grayer, wetter variety.  I need a few more days like today to finish up the inventory for the Fiber Festival of New England. November 2nd will be here before I know it.

    1. Oh, what a gorgeous color!
Not looking forward to all the gray and gloom coming our way…

  • Friday’s Photo

I've been cleaning up the plants that were summering under the trees to bring in for the winter.  Look who was hiding in one of the bromiliads.

Awwww… sweet wee frog. Enjoying the little puddle of water at the base?

    2. I hope it’s not really a beaver in a really good disguise…

    3. Great disguise. About a 40lb. beaver. Theres a second beaver. Arghhhh!

  • walk with me

It is hard to take a bad walk this time of year.  There's so much color, so many color moods.  We managed a couple beach walks last weekend.  It was a nice contrast to my daily woods walks.

It is a great time of year for walks. Love the one with the blue sky peeking through.
