Have you noticed the afternoon light? So much gold. I wonder if it appears even more so against the earthy palette of the late autumn landscape.
It is less than three weeks until the solstice. With days so short, I am finding it hard to fit in an afternoon walk. How about you?

I can’t walk on a week day now, it’s dark when I get home from work. I cross my fingers for continued good weather on Sundays.
I’ve been enjoying the cold crisp evening dog walks with the beautiful moon the last few days. Even this far south (NCentral Florida) the sun is gone by the time I’m done with work. The sunsets, when I start my walk, are magnificent. Then the moon is up and it’s so bright it’s almost like walking in a spotlight.
