again or still….
I can't decide which is a better way to describe
the weather. After nearly a month, I'm thinking words like overcast,
damp, drizzle and rain. The world around me is lush, fat and very,
very… green. All the greens you can imagine: light greens, dark
greens, blue greens, yellow greens, browned greens, green greens and
evergreens. Evergreen. Ever. Green. Gorgeous. So green you can smell
it. Eat it. Green.

We shouldn’t be surprised as wet and green go together, for awhile anyway till it goes mush! We have an abundance of SLUGS, AcK! I’ve never seen a slug slither across a blacktop driveway(w/o baking itself alive), over the brick patio, and up into a planter to eat the pansies that are still blooming.
It’s been very green, that’s for sure!
Your Hostas are gorgeous!
You’ve got our green! This should be Louisiana’s rainy season, and we’ve only had one brief rain in two months. The only place we have green is the grass around the roses, because we water the rose bed. Sigh!
Lovely, lovely greens! I never get tired of them, unless it’s the green weeds in my yard.
Ishbel is a lovely diversion.
The green is so lush, so beautiful!
It is surprisingly green here in NM this year. Although nothing like New England……
The greens in your area are so lush looking. Southern California’s hills are brown now as we’ve been in a drought. We could really use some rain, but that will most likely not happen til either late this year or next year. The Iris in your photo really pop against the green.
I’d like to see some yellow. As in SUN.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could send some of our rain to those who actually *need* it?
I actually am loving the green enough to forgive the weather. 95 degrees in Chicago last week was enough to make me wish winter was back. Free water from the sky is a good thing here in expensive Massachusetts.
