pardon me..

If I haven't answered your comments, pardon me.  Or, pardon the new improved Typepad.  Has anyone figured it out yet?   It used to be so easy.  Now, when I try to answer (some of) you, my email is returned as it only goes back to Typepad.  Frustrating.  Your email address doesn't show up on the email I get with your comment.  So, if you haven't heard back from me, I am sorry.

This seems to be only the people who are signed in with a TypeKey account.  If possible, don't go there.   The one thing that it does is show is your first and last name.  just sayin'.

I've noticed that the calendar in the side bar has stopped ticking off the days.  Maybe the crew is working on these problems.  Fingers are crossed, well they would be if they could be.

More tomorrow.  Really.  It's 9pm and bedtime.  Elves have to be at work and creative tomorrow at 6am.  That's after picking up their helpers and packing the trucks and having a pot of coffee and driving to the job.  No, no… that's why the grinch really stole Christmas.

  1. I just sign into Typepad, and don’t know how it signs into Typekey. I don’t knowingly do that. But I do check to see what it says I’m posting under. That’s a nasty surprise. I’ve also seen those typepad replies, and get the person’s address off my gmail. PITA.

  2. Upgrades aren’t always an improvement, eh? Good luck today!

  3. Complain! I’ve been complaining daily. They connected Typekey and Typepad. Let them know you hate it!

  4. I always dread typepad upgrades as there is always some sort of quirk. This particular one is a PIA. πŸ™

  5. Don’t know what to tell you…I haven’t had any problems with the upgrade. Knock wood, there hasn’t been one time I’ve needed a Help Ticket since the change.

I use to be able to read your, and other, typepad blogs in safari (the standard Mac browser). Not anymore. Now I have to open them in firefox, which is annoying. Just sayin’.

  7. I know. It’s annoying. I can’t figure it out either. I tried signing in and out of Typekey and it’s all still there.

  8. You need to complain to TypePad.
There is an option on the TypePad Key Connect Thingy profile to share your email if you leave a comment and you’re logged in. There is also an opt out for having it on your blog, but, if a person is logged in, it still goes through.
Good luck and complain to Typepad! *L*

  9. Oy – I wish I had such problems. Someone hacked older versions of WordPress and my blog is gone. I have a backup, but can’t sign in to my blog to install it. I’m wondering if the universe is telling me to stop blogging!
