ziggety zak

Zak in bag1 In Zak's world, especially when his world is cattywumpus, there is always something of interest.  The shop, my office, the house, everything is upside down, inside out and stuffed to the gills.  The poinsettias have taken up my usual workbench.  This afternoon I grabbed the little boxwood trees and cleared off a section of the drafting table to set up shop decorating them for delivery.  Packing boxes stacked to the ceiling carve out smaller and smaller passage ways through the house.

All the "new" spaces might be fun for the cats, or they might be a bit confusing.  I know I'm having trouble winding my way through to the next room.

Last night I went in to a dark room and found Zak in his new fort.  Seeking solace? Or is it a game?  Sammy tried to go into the plant bag after Zak left for a snack.  No way… Zak doesn't share.  He went over and smacked Sammy, chasing him out of the bag.

He's a very possessive cat.  At nearly 20 lbs., no one messes with Zak.

  1. He’s beautiful! How’s the workload?

  2. I think I own Zak’s sister. Cleo looks identical down to the white under the chin. At 16.5 pounds and gaining she’s his “little sister” but not by much. How old is Zak? Cleo’s almost 9.

  3. Aw, he looks like my old cat Yummers. She didn’t share either, but she had a whole neighborhood to chase cats from. (She did, too.) She was the meanest queen you’ve ever met, but she sure purred loud when my dad cuddled her.

    Wonderful cat photos!

  5. ah…the feral instinct is kicking in I see….I wouldn’t mess with that! He looks like he is guarding the cave πŸ˜‰
