what’s new

There is something new on my desk.

This pattern is fun, a nice change from lace knitting.  There is one other project competing with it for my time (one other sweater pattern, let’s not count socks and other smallish items.. hmmm???).  At the end of this week, one will have to take priority.  I’m giving it the week.  This is the Marseille Pullover by Kathy Zimmerman, published in the IK Summer 2006.  Great knitting for mindless tv shows.

Mindless television… time for The DoctorDoctor Who?  Just sending out the heads up to all fans, The Doctor is back.  He has regenerated.  I’m loyal, despite my attraction to Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor.  There have been others, this show has longevity, more than 30 years.  There will be more.  He’s the Doctor.  Friday had two episodes, the 1/2 hr.  season premier, and episode one.  You TiVo users are SO lucky.

Tomorrow is Wednesday — Walk with Me Wednesday.  I’m looking forward to seeing pics from your walks.  Who’s walking??

  1. Maybe I should be saving my mountain pictures for Wednesdays. Nice sweater!

  2. I posted my pictures on Sunday. Kinda screwed up the whole idea. It’s really too dark to take pictures when I go out on weekdays. Maybe I’ll post a few more of the rivers tomorrow. Do you knit cables while watching TV? I’m in awe.

  3. Love the sweater. Very pretty.
I’ll post a picture of the path I wish I was walking through. It’s a service path from the road and isn’t too long, but it is still nice.

  4. Tennant seems pretty good so far, but I miss Eccleston. “It’s sonic, okay, I am sonic’d up!” πŸ˜‰
I desperately want to see Captain Jack again. I understand he’s got his own spinoff in the works…

  5. I’ve always admired that sweater pattern. Looking forward to seeing yours.
